Bike Park Closed for Season. Opens on July 3
The Mt. Bachelor Downhill Bike Park will open for its second full season on Friday, July 3, 2015. The park will be open daily through Labor Day, then switch to a Friday-Sunday schedule in September and October.

More than 10 miles of excavated and single-track trails are available with construction ongoing throughout the next two summers. Cone Run, Way Out and lower Last Chance trails are scheduled to be finished by early August while the extremely difficult Rockfall trail should be ready to scratch & ride by late August.

Also new this summer, the Sunshine Accelerator lift will be added to the operating schedule and a new easier trail named FTL (short for First Timer Line) will be constructed and ready to open by July 3. From the top of Sunshine lift, riders can also access the lower Lava Flow and Blade Runner trails allowing for a nice progression opportunity.

In the base area, Mt. Bachelor has invested in a new fleet of Norco rental bikes, including an explanded set of Aurum downhill bikes and our Gravity Sports shop will be fully stocked with bikes for sale, helmets, pads and everything you need to enjoy the biking experience.

Also look for Gravity School this summer, with instruction available for those who want to learn or improve their biking skills. Gravity Bike Camps, specifically for kids and teens, will be offered in July and August. These week-long summer kids camps are now available for booking. Sign up before the space fills.
