Jul 20, 2022 Alpine Baldy Trail Trail Report

There are 4-5 blowdowns still on the lower ~2ish miles needing a chainsaw. Brush is also getting bad on the lower 2-3 miles but all passable. I'm not usually bothered by brush on this level but the nature of the road trail conversion has a lot of large irregular rocks, stumps, and logs placed RIGHT next to the trail hidden by the brush and combined with the high speed nature of this "fireroad downhill" be really careful of pedal strikes at high speed.
