Description:
About 15-20 blowdowns now, honestly for this type of trail and how long it is they aren't too bad as they are scattered pretty evenly. 3-4 of the blowdowns are >24", none are bigger than about 32". The biggest one is on the West end of the trail before the Cispus lookout/meadows. The trail is getting very brushy in places here and there especially near the creeks between Jackpot and Saint John Lake and on the climb up from the West terminus to the meadow. Mosquitoes are epic. The loam is sublime, as is a swim in Saint John Lake. Someone motoed in at least the Eastern/Southern half and tore up some tread, especially in steep and switchback sections. I'd like to assume they cleared some blowdowns but rode around some pretty small ones....
There are also some sections with any increased use where narrow bench tread is falling away and will probably continue to turn into sidehilling after more traffic.
There is a trail running event 8/8-8/12 per the signs up today, hopefully they do some brushing pre event but the extra traffic will definitely help with brush.

I regret not making an effort to be more specific but honestly they weren't really concentrated in any particular spot but scattered pretty evenly about.
