Trails real name is Betty
Don’t understand why the trail names got changed, seems like they used the fire as an excuse though.

Not as fun as the name implies. If I were younger I’d bomb down this with speed.

(5/4/2020) The trail is great from the rock pile to the ridge overlooking down into dry canyon. However, the transition to dry canyon is over grown and the trail eroding. I walked half of this section. It was beautiful and there are three washes that had avalanche snow in them.

Super fun downhill! It's easy to get speed, but it's a shallow enough grade that it's not hard to maintain control

Incredibly overgrown, to the point that I turned around and hiked back up to the previous trail because the sun was going down and I couldn’t see the trail.

This trail should not be rated a black. It's blue, and extramely overgrown.

It has been a few years since I rode this trail, but I was looking for an adventure so we gave it a shot. As others have said, it is severely overgrown. But it is also suffering from serious erosion, many washed out sections from thunderstorms. It is very steep in places and just not designed for bikes. I would estimate we hike-a-biked half of the trail, and I will never ride it again. Unfortunately there just isn't a good way to get up to the plateau above Pleasant Grove, all the canyons are super steep.

Really overgrown right now, especially down low, which makes the trail pretty hard to see

Severely overgrown and not ridable in places. If you are trying to get to big baldy climb up/descend dry canyon instead.

I think the trail has lost a bit of its mojo as of late (2014). Narrow rocky tracks have given way to new parallel paths, and some unnecessary cuts. Harder to climb as well.
