This upper part of Lazuli trail is steep and partly an old jeep trail. Really just serves as a connector to Trail 051 and the Dry Canyon Loop.

Lazuli Middle has been completely recut in 2026, and is no longer a black diamond trail. It's all flowy with big banked turns. Much easier going up and lots of fun going down. Lazuli Upper is still a narrow trail and Lazuli Lower is still rocky and a bit sketchy.

Fun jump off to the right going downhill.
