This is a fun route to get back to Valley Vista after climbing Sneaky or Thunderdome. It's pretty flowy at the top and there are even a few jumps.

Bring two mules. One to carry you, and one for your bike.

Fun paved trail for a bike ride. It is quite long and goes all the way past bridal veil falls.

Trail Alta Ditch
Double track to single track then a bridge over a washout. Ends at highway..can walk down to park before Singletrack starts to link up to Provo river bike path

Fun trail, but basically a double track most of the way.Climb up is difficult due to loose rock and some challenging rock gardens. Ride down is fast and chunky but nothing so difficult that my wife on an entry level Giant mountain bike couldn't handle. Due to the positioning on top of the saddle the trail is open for a longer season than other spots in the Timp foothills.

I changed it to blue. The trail was imported from another database which had the trail added back in 2010 before the bridge. The exposure was really bad, and it was really difficult before the construction where it turns off to the old river bridge. But yah, I didn't realize this was still a black. I don't want to send families with little kids with that exposure, so I'll keep it blue.

Not sure why anyone would rate this a black trail. It's easy to ride in either direction with no technical features whatsoever. There is a little bit of exposure, but nothing scary. This should be rated green or at most a mild blue.

cardio aspect is right. I ended up crossing a stream that I don't think was part of the mapped trail. Nice little adventure there.

Toward the end, I ended up off the marked path in a gulch/gully that opened up to a nice side trail that was less used but easy to follow. Fun little detour.

Great as a descent as well, although watch your speed on the tight turns as there is two-way traffic.
