As a visitor, this felt like a great intro to the south foothills. Its a great area with a mix of smooth trails and techy bits. That said, I'm not sure the south end of the loop is really worth it, riding next to the highway and then having to climb back out. Also our loop ended up being 9+ miles not 6.4.
