High Point

The Goldilocks loop (Rangers Summit, Strange Brew and Northern Boundary Ridge) with the added out and back of Bobcat. Makes for some great riding, with high speed sections on Bobcat, and rough root sections and big berms on Strange Brew.

Rode this Feb 11. Surprisingly supportive ruts in the turns. Very fun. Studs weren't necessary but likely will be in coming days.
Bobcat
Feb 4, 2017 @ 8:23pm
Feb 4, 2017
A light covering of snow over the typical hardpack snow base. Many sections of snow-over-dirt. Good traction for the majority of the climb with only a few sections being made easier with studs. Overall, great shape considering the recent freeze/thaw cycles.
Ranger Summit
Feb 2, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Feb 2, 2017
Ice from bottom to top. A few sections were too slick and steep to maintain traction. Studded tires are strongly recommended.
Boundary Ridge
Jan 18, 2017 @ 6:22pm

The chinook turned the snow into slush, glare ice and glazed hardpack. There were some ruts/puddles forming, which will be really interesting when it freezes up. Studded tires would be a really good idea.
