The lower section of Anchors Aweigh may be closed during mud season.
The Orange route uses two trails, Anchors Aweigh and Absalom. When followed in the direction of the Orange blazes the grade is mostly down with some easy climbing. The end of Absalom, where it intersects with Quarry, is a short , rocky downhill where caution should be used. This route can be looped by using Quarry, Taft and Tower trails to tie the ends together.
Detailed Description
Orange Loop is a 1 mile popular intermediate route located near Mendon Massachusetts. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 111 ft with a max elevation of 546 ft then descends -181 ft.
