High Point

Leaves from Powderface parking lot on the NW corner of the lot. Head up Prairie creek and take the first intersection to the north. This is a short loop but very rewarding with a decent ascent and a really fun descent with challenging rock drops and single track back to the base of the valley. Best ridden clockwise

Still some snow close to the top. Not enjoyable. A slow climb that just gets steeper and steeper close to top. No switch backs. Requires uphill bike pushing for significant portion of top. Only one area of view. We did powder face trail, then along road to connect with Prairie creekl trail. This was definitely the right direction for the loop, as you can cruse down the road. However a nicer ride would have been out and back on Prairie.

Some wet puddles. Rode this from powder face trail to the highway. Mostly downhill this way, enjoyable ride, some nice rolling... Much much better than powder face trail, which requires lots of bike pushing!!
