High Point

Leaves from Powderface parking lot on the NW corner of the lot. Head up Prairie creek and take the first intersection to the north. This is a short loop but very rewarding with a decent ascent and a really fun descent with challenging rock drops and single track back to the base of the valley. Best ridden clockwise

Climbing south to north was pretty straightforward with studs. Descending was fun... with studs.

Need studs to escape parking lot. Mix of ice and glazed snow to the link trail. Looked nice further up towards the col, but we (perhaps foolishly) headed up the link trail.

Rode this entire trail. Best conditions are west of the link junction. Hilariously icy on the final descent. Not super easy to walk, never mind ride, the final rock step. Note: party of 3 experienced riders. The two with Wrathchild tires had a good time on the last leg, while the guy with Dillingers had multiple spills.
