A 50-50 mix of sand and sandstone. Mostly double track. But a good way to spin up to the top of the Mag-7 Trail system when no shuttle

THIS TRAIL SHOULD BE LISTED AS A JEEP ROAD AND IN THE PURPLE COLOR. IF YOUR LOOKS FOR ALL THE AMAZING SINGLE TRACK THIS IS NOT IT..
[Reply]

This trail is an old (now closed) jeep road, yes - and it is listed as a double track in the description. The width doesn't mean it isn't a tricky technical ride in places, and it doesn't mean that there aren't spectacular views.
This is also a very useful trail for putting together large loops in the area, connecting the Gemini Bridges/Horsethief area with the 313 switchbacks or the bottom of Navajo Rocks.
