I should also add the trail leading up to the fossil is not a easy walk. You have to climb up rocks to see it. Definitely not recommended for kids! Please have some experience in hiking/climbing. Me and my partner were very unprepared. But that wasn't the scariest part. We crossed paths with a moose and 2 babies coming back. That was so scary

First hike every in Fernie, BC and me and my partner crossed paths with a mama moose and her 2 babies on the trail. We had to climb the mountain through thick trees and bushes to avoid them cause no one was coming to help us. We definitely could of died, it was extremely scary.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
