The trail starts with a mellow traverse across an open grassy slope passing by a spring as it climbs toward the trees. The trail enters the forest and switchbacks up the hill passing by several small rocky cliffs. After reaching a viewpoint the trail turns southwest and climbs a steep challenging slope and then flattens out and ends at a junction with the Blue Mountain Main Corridor.
