They fixed the bridges at the start of the trail. Very nice!

Dry conditions, lots of loose gravel. 11% grade at some points. Fun trek down back to parking. Good workout.

The trail is one of my favorites in the summer time. One thing to be careful of is it is listed as 3.7 miles in length but per my Garmin it is 4.7 miles so be aware if you are planing a there and back it is 2 Miles longer. In the summer my kids and I go swimming in the lake and cool off then ride back. The way back from the lake is the funniest as it is 70% down hill. It's a workout getting there. Cool of in the lake then good times on the way back to the truck. My only complaint is near the trail head where there are 3small bridges. Due to the growth of the trees and water it makes it very difficult to navigate.
