Bluff Mesa is a short trail to the Champion Lodgepole Pine from forest road 2N86. It's a timid, blue singletrack trail located south of the lake near Big Bear, California. This trail is popular for cyclists and hikers. It can be used as a short out-and-back or used to connect to the larger regional network of trails to make a great, all day epic adventure. The trail passes near the very serene Bluff Lake, but cyclists must note that riding bikes around that lake is not permitted and lake access is seasonal.
