Watch your face! Lots of sneaky blackberry vines sticking out at eye level right now, I almost got a nasty scratch on the eyeball from one of them.

Not black IMO. More blue/green with black features. Road in hot dry conditions and not in my re-ride category, mainly tough to get flow with all trail direction issues and flat feature-less sections. The spicy section is built up from the bottom of the trail for ride up ride down hot laps from a relatively small rock face with many options down to a bunch a med/large gaps for dirt jumpers. Great if that’s what you’re looking for.

The trail starts easy and increases in difficulty lower down the trail. It is in good condition now on June 19, 2025, neither dry nor wet. After the long skinny, which starts wide and narrows, there is a rock drop with multiple lines but definitely rated black. Super fun route like the rest of the mountain.
