Starts with a steep climb up from the Eagleton Railroad trail and slowly mellows out. The top has a short flat section through thick laurel growth until heading downhill towards boiler run. The downhill portion of the trail is fast and mostly straight, transitioning from a former stream bed with some mild rock gardens to bench cut singletrack. Trail ends at a camp on Boiler Run Trail/Road.
