Done ccw. At first I was thinking maybe I should have done this the other direction when I hit the upper trail saddle but then coming down towards the end realized it would have been worse clockwise. This is a nice place to practice technical moves and tight switchbacks but it isn't someplace that is rewarding for the effort involved. Don't bring anyone new to mountain biking out here, they will hate it. Like lots of stuff around Tucson...more hiking trail than biking trail. Would definitely get you tuned up if you're going to do Portal in Moab

Rode some did a lot of hike a bike. Great views. Seems more of a hiking trail. Didn’t feel the upper was worth the effort. JMHO.

Lots of cactus encroachment. Bring forceps. Nice trail lots of potential, just needs some machete work.
