Introducing Butter Up Although it rides excellent in both directions, this trail was intended to be a "Up Trail" to help lift us all off the valley floor.

Butter Up intends to have riders finish their climbs on GS, but can offer plenty of creative routing options. It also compliments downhill rides like Busternut to Goodnite Irene OR Plum Line OR Big Cranky.

Please be respectful to the requests of the local housing association (and awesome landowner partners) and do not park anywhere on or near Butternut Hill Road or Butternut Condos Parking lots. We are guests on their land, please Ride With Gratitude.

      Definitely a steep but manageable trail.. More difficult to climb than the Revo/Evo side but well constructed and smooth. The challenge of course is that it drops you at the GS/Clinic intersection and the work really begins from there if your goal is to get back to Dana Hill road.

      Beautifully built and buttery smooth with some quality rock work. A bit steep in the first third or so to be called a green climbing tail, but it does climb very well and would definitely be a nice if short down, too. Butter Up to GS to E-A-D to Enchanted is an exvellent way to reach the top of Evolution from the valley floor.
