The Cache Creek Trail above the old trailhead at the Gauging Station become a doubletrack and fades to singletrack. The section from the Gauging Station to Game Creek is easy and becomes slightly harder above that as you approach the Wilderness boundary. It is groomed in winter for multi-use.
