Cascade starts out fairly tame across the bridge, but as you start to head down before the climb to Catamount, the rocks become plentiful, and you'll need to have your wits about you to navigate them.

I personally enjoy riding this trail W to E instead. The ascent from Catamount Shortcut takes some hiking, but it's all pretty smooth downhill after the peak. E to W and you're riding slow uphill pretty much the whole way and miss out on some nice berms and smooth narrow cut in trail next to the rocky ravine.
