Originally built in the early 90's, Cassandra is classic tight and twisty Shuniah Mines single-track trail through a dense spruce thicket. The trail connects the hydro line corridor from the Hilltop zone back to the main part of the system near Crossover. The trail is a hand-built trail that weaves it's way through tight trees over lots of roots and rocks. The top end of the trail can be either a technical descent or a challenge climb depending on which direction you are riding.

In recent years work has been underway to bring this trail up to newer standards, while still respecting is heritage.
