The drop off of Clark Lake onto this trail is pretty steep and a bit of a powerslide. Then you have to cross the creek coming out of Clark Lake and it is pretty rooty and difficult to climb for just a short bit. Once you get out from the lake the trail starts to become a great little grind through the aspen forest. The final section down to the intersection with Boren Mesa is really fast and fun ripper through the aspens. There are little root drops here and there and fun sweeping turns.
