This is Upper Crawfish trail and a nice connection between the Knott Trail and the lower Crawfish segments. Steep in places and with some switchbacks higher up, the lower portion is fairly rutted and rocky but rideable. Ascending is hard in this portion. The shelter listed on the Forest Service maps has collapsed, bridges are intact.
