A great fully-featured AM ride, with long, but relatively easy access.

CSHM is an excellent trail accessed off the end of the Alice Lake parking lot and up a short but steep access road.
Entrance is flat and loamy, quickly turning in to a stepped descent of small broken rock and hard(ish) pack. A few upward rock rolls interrupt an otherwise twisty dirt and mildly-rooted singletrack.
You'll encounter a nice fat log ride, with angled 12" skinny exit, a single double-bubble rock roll (hit it from the left of the small willow patch or you'll be forced to turn mid-roll). Another quick jaunt through some rolling and dropping dirt track with one short but very steep bit of woodwork, followed quickly by a short but very rough broken rock drop around a tree. You'll be rewarded with a nice wide downward curve to the right, like a 200' long berm, in to an intersection (stay right for exit to cul-de-sac), which rolls quickly over small optional bridges and gravel to the cul-de-sac on Tantalus Rd.

Advanced Riders: Very doable for advanced riders willing to walk the few burly required features, keep your speed or lose your momentum on the roots.

Expert Riders: Let fly through all but the broken rock drop (huck it with caution, rock wall on the right, air on the left) be wary the double-bubble rock roll if you enter from the right side at speed.

Access Info

Travel to the Northern-most end of the Alice Lake parking lot & campground, ride past the yellow gate, the road takes a hard right, then a left switchback and keep following, sign for CSHM will be on the left - total distance past the gate, about 800m.

Note that while Trailforks shows the primary trail direction as "Downhill only", trials motorcycles' primary direction is uphill from the bottom.

With the erosion the trail is definitely not the easiest of blacks. Take Kiki for more intermediate riders.

It's actually one of the Squamish Classics that has a bit of everything. Super fast, tech, slabs, flow, jank. This trail has it all (except for grippy rock) and is a blast.
