Doe Mountain Trail is a 1.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Sedona, AZ that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Access Info

Directions from Flagstaff: Drive 27 miles south from Flagstaff to Sedona on US 89A. Continue through Sedona to Dry Creek Road at the west end of town. Turn north on Dry Creek Road (FR152C) three miles to the Boynton Canyon intersection then left on FR 152C about a mile to the trailhead.

      I just hiked this. This is a black diamond hike. Very step including scrambling up and over rocks. Some places with significant exposure (cliff edge with narrow trail). It is not suited for all skill levels and is not for mountain bikes as the description says. Once to the top the trail is not marked and you are constantly walking on off camber rocks. Skip this trail. It was not enjoyable

      NFS does not allow bikes on this trail. It would also be black to double black. This is not for all skill levels as the description suggests and this trail should be removed from trailforks.

      I just hiked this trail today, and it looked more difficult than a lot of the black diamond trails in the area. It gets pretty steep and very technical especially Near the top. Not sure how it got the blue square difficulty rating.
