More enduro than cross country, this trail has improved in recent years with slightly more use and maintenance. Lots of blind corners, spicy steep rock gardens, roots, and fast wild sections. Probably the most challenging downhill trail in Lionhead, besides the janky steeps in Targhee Creek, with lots of short technical climbs to keep you honest. Raw trail disappears in a couple spots up high. Not recommended as a climb.
The best way to ride this is with a shuttle starting at Raynolds Pass and Mile Creek Face Trail.

A fun and challenging trail. From a technical perspective, it's barely a black. But there are also some punchy climbs and wayfinding to do. The trail was not maintained like CDT Targhee was when I did them, and it disappears in some spots. But there are lots of good cairns to guide you. That said, I did use GPS and Trailforks twice to find my way down my first time.

There are some truly fun sections on this trail and it is worth trying if you have the skills and experience.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
