The trail is primarily up hill from the trail head with a few descending sections. It tends to be porly maintained and can have overgrone sectons and downed logs. Road 4614 can also be used for the climbing. The upper part has lots of rock for an added challenge. There are a few places to get a nice view into the north fork of the Clackamas River. Descending back to the trail head is fun and techy. This is an old school trail, so don't expect berms and jumps, although a few natural features are present.
From Estacada take Hwy 224 east to Fall Creek Rd. At Tumala Mt Rd Turn right and follow to the junction with 4613 which goes right, and the trail head parking lot will be on your left. The trail is just past the parking area and is well marked.
