It's a fairly long climb on a jeep road to Fernie Alpine Resort. Merges with Cedar Trail at the resort. Takes you to good single-track descents, such as Snakebite and Verboten, and you can also access Old Goat, Megahurts, Black Forest etc.

Access Info

Head into the Provincial Park opposite the Stanford Inn. Through the campgrounds, going straight and onto the Island Lake Lodge gravel road. About 700m after leaving the paved road you will see a parking area on the left, with a trail leading down to the river. Head down here and turn immediately right to cross the river on Gorby Bridge. Head up the bank on the other side and round to the left.
