Moderate trail with alpine characteristics and up and down parts. Although the trail itself is not particularly difficult, it is quite exposed in parts and has a few sections where the bike must be pushed or carried around drop offs. A trail for taking your time and enjoying the scenery and views. Ends at Reitsteig trail which logically follows.
Due to its popularity with hikers, consider only riding this trail in the off season or during the week. Otherwise better to use the forest road access to Reitsteig from Oswaldhütte.
