Just over ten miles of challenging old-school singletrack. Mixture of everything Oakridge has to offer: rocky chutes, exposure, switchbacks, loose fall-line, incredible views, straight-line downhill bombs, hike-a-bikes, fun wide-open thunder, and miles and miles of bench-cut singletrack.

Have a lunch atop Heckletooth Mountain among the manzanita bushes before you start your descent, and be sure to scout your line off the top if you don't want to walk it.

Access Info

Starts at the bottom of Little Bunchgrass trail after crossing the road. Look for the "Eugene to Crest" trail sign. Ends on straight exit singletrack that eventually widens to gravel. It shares this exit with Aubrey Mountain trail.

Ready to go! No wet spots, definitely getting dusty out in the bench cuts.

Running well. A bit greasy after the sketchy tilted bridge crossing but will probably dry fast.

Nice flowing somewhat dh trail with quite a few uphill grunts. A couple tight tech switchbacks should not scare anyone away from riding this one. Take the shuttle if you can cuz it goes by fast!

Scenic! Breathtaking at points. Single track with few technical areas. Fun. I’m ready to go again!
