Before the Hood, this was the only way down. Now it is used both ways, but why go down this if you can go down the Hood? A pretty hard climb.

The Hood Access trail is an easy, nicely built trail with access to both The Hood and Buzzcut Extension. This bit, the Hood "access" is easy and anyone can ride it so not sure why it's labelled intermediate other than it leads to The Hood which is amazing.

I went up this instead of ET and a new hope. What a terrible decision lol. I know some beginners ride Downhell if they are too afraid of the hood, Downhell seems really fast but I truly wouldn't know cause I ride the hood down. My favorite trail along with derailed here at PG forest.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
