Long Distance is a relatively smooth piece of singletrack usually done in a loop with the eastern half Telephone Loop to avoid excessive mud. The trail is well made, the grades are not too steep and there are some good views to be seen at a few sections. The soil on the trail is Most of the trail is in forest, but some parts are in meadows, clear cuts and in new growth forests. Mud is not a problem on this trail most of the year, but do not be surprised if you find a few puddles and a couple of soft spots. The soil on this trail is softer than others in the area and not as rocky, especialy in wooded sections. there are no difficult, dangerous or tricky sections of note. Riding season is from mid April to early November, longer if you have a fatbike. The trail is multi-use, so as always, be courteous to hikers, snowshoers, and equestrians.

A couple muddy spots in the hollows but nice and dry. Careful of the overgrown vegetation that is sometimes encroaching.

Dry and clear. A downed tree was blocking one side of the trail but we fixed it after it nearly took me out. All good now.

Mostly good (just rode to reconnect), just a few wet sections towards the top but very rideable. At least for 1 more day until the rain.

Trail is in good shape only a couple of small mud puddles. There is a tree down across the path about 1/2 way between reconnect and bragging...
