One of the oldest trails in the area, double track for the most part. The east section, from parking lot to Long Distance, is generally in good shape all year, snow covered in the winter months. The west section, from Long Distance to Braggin Rights, has some parts that are definitely soft in the summer months, but good in the winter. The steepest sections are in the east end. The complete loop is only recommended for winter use ie skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking. Telephone and Long Distance make up one of the best loops in WBC for summer and winter riding.

Access Info

CCW: access the trail from the east part of the West Bragg parking lot. There are signs and maps to guide you.
CW: access is off of the access road west of the parking lot, or get to it from Bragging Rights.

 Only rode between Disconnect and Long Distance north end. One mud hole otherwise dry. One tree partially blocking trail but can ride around it.

 No issues today to speak off...a 5-6 meter muddy area about 6 km from the parking lot....drying well and easy to ride around..otherwise running great.

      Going counter clockwise, the first half is in decent shape with a few small muddy areas and a couple of downed trees. The second half is really wet and muddy, with several large trees across the trail too. Not overly enjoyable.

      Excel's comment below still applies - good first half, lots of mud and crud on the second half. Also there is now some snow and ice in the more shaded parts of the return.

      Description is accurate. The west end sucks and was full of cow shit, swamp, and muddy bomb holes after 6 weeks of no rain. Highly not recommended. The east end to Long Distance is great. The "Marginal Conditions" sign at the beginning of the west end does not lie.
