We are visiting Bend for 2.5 days. After riding it, I would not make this a priority. It’s a long distance x-country trail. There are very few flowy or technical sections. It feels a bit like a snoozy experiential tour of the logging industry. I have a hard time understanding why USDA Forest Service would ban e-bikes when so much of this trail allows chain sawing (logging). Signed a fatigued spinal cord injury survivor.

if you don't like this trail I firmly believe you don't actually like mountain biking and probably should go to some park or Disneyland. Mrazek rips, just pedal faster.

Bowhead Reach goes. Blue +. Some may say black due to a few tricky tech moves that could high center or tip ya. They’re located in the last 1/3 of the trail. Riding from the top down it’s a long ride as it’s not super fast. Riding up from shevlin- I don’t think the reach goes and the tech spots are directional for the reach an have a drop in them that would become impassable as to tall of guard rock in that direction. No ride around either.
