Percorso alternativo al sentiero 223 nel tratto tra Pian di Redont e la Val del Vescovo, per abbreviare i tempi di percorrenza fra il Rifugio Trivena e il valico delle Porte di Danerba. L'itinerario si diparte dal sentiero 223 poco oltre il ponte al Pian di Redont, volge a destra costeggiando la suggestiva conca erbosa in direzione dello stretto canale roccioso della Val del Vescovo; raggiunto l'imbocco, ne risale il solco inizialmente ripido ma che più in alto spiana in alcune belle radure erbose, alzandosi infine fra le rocce e i macereti ad incontrare nuovamente il sentiero 223 che proviene dallo spallone sulla sx e che prosegue verso le Porte di Danerba.
