Panoramico itinerario fra l'alta Val Breguzzo e il Passo San Valentino, che ha assunto particolare importanza escursionistica per la traversata fra i rifugi Val di Fumo e Trivena in alternativa all'itinerario 223. L'inizio dell'itinerario è oltre un'ora a monte della conca di Redont e vi si accede per i sentieri 261 e 261A. La traccia si stacca dal sentiero 261A a quota 2300 in corrispondenza di una modesta verde spianata e si alza per l'aperto versante erboso che più in alto diventa nuda pietraia costituita da massi di tonalite. Seguendo i segnavia che accompagnano lungo i passaggi più agevoli, si arriva alla Bocchetta del Cop di Casa (o Porte di Trivena) sulla cresta E della cima omonima. Lasciato a sx l'itinerario 253A diretto al Passo Breguzzo, si passa sul versante alla testata della Val San Valentino abbassandosi verso sx per aggirare un impervio sperone che scende dalla vetta del Cop di Casa. Si attraversa in quota l'impervio fianco cosparso di detriti e massi fino a raggiungere i 2764 metri del Passo di San ­Valentino.
