Agree that its generous to call this a black. First third is highly technical and rocky, but a solidly intermediate rider could do well here. Back 2/3 are rooty but overall more like a solid blue

The northern section is slow, chunky, tight, and technical. The other section is a little more hilly, less chunky, overall not the best of what Matson has to offer.

This is not a black trail. More high blue. Tougher than the other two trails here though, more rock in this section. This is easier than Zombie and it is blue. The rock section is not on a hill side so falling or getting stuck is not as big of a deal.
