La parte alta, inaugurata per la Tartufo bike del 2015 parte dal crinale e scende su un single track tra il bosco fino a innestarsi al vecchio sentiero appena prima della secca curva a destra che immette nella veloce discesa su forestale. Anzichè proseguire sulla forestale fino alla fine del trail, al successivo tornante a sinistra si tiene la destra e ci si immette su uno stretto sentiero molto flow a mezza costa. Ad un certo punto occorre buttarsi giù a sinistra tra tracce poco evidenti (il "toboga", che evidentemente si è un pò infrascato dopo la Tartufo bike) e ricollegarsi al single track parallelo che rientra a sinistra sul percorso "classico".

Da Parma seguire la provinciale per Calestano. Arrivati a Marzolara lasciare l'auto nel parcheggio libero davanti al ristorante Blue River (prato). Pedalare in direzione di Calestano e salire a Predarezzo.
