Relax, that's not a land owner shooting at you. It's the sound of the public gun range just to the north. On loop 11, discarded cement chunks act as rocks and the roots act as, well, roots. The loop tends to hold water in spots, making the mosquitoes a legitimate trail feature to worry about. In addition, there's a short stretch worth noting that skirts the creek . Keep your eyes forward--it's a spot that can change when there are heavy rains or flooding. There's a dozen or so reasons you wouldn't want to inadvertently end up in the creek--the primary reason being it's Rowlett Creek.
