Reworked at the end of 2018/early 2019 the new Reactor Trail connects the Upper Perimeter trail over to the UVA Aerospace building, plunging down by the Reactor. Each direction starts with a fast flowy descent that hasn't worn down to the rock like most other trails on Ohill. Coming south to the split in the trail allows you to take a left down to a steep and challenging rock garden close to the Reactor building. The high line has some rollers and should always be taken headed north as the rock garden cannot be ridden up. A big ride under is on the other side of this gulley. The end of the trail is a solid climb on either end, with the southern option giving you the option to continue up the powerlines all the way to the top of Ohill.
