A steep descent down a narrow canyon, with many surprising technical features. The top section of trail is faint, and occasionally difficult to follow (although it's in a canyon, so you can't get lost). The bottom singletrack is overgrown in places, occasionally with rose bushes. Below here is a fun section of doubletrack, with lots of steep waterbars, some of which make for awesome jumps.

Bottom is pretty full-on vegetated. Serious adventure route, with very few sections that are actually "trail". Still fun.

Better now! Top bit is quite faint. Jungle section down low is jungly.

Better now! Faint up top. Jungle section is still jungly, but the trail is good to go!

Not great! Washed out by some apocalyptic flash flooding over the summer. Would not recommend riding until you hear otherwise.

Such a unique primitive, raw trail in which you bike surf your way down a canyon and you encounter lots of fun features on the way. The Slot Canyon a quarter of the way down is a super unique feature, control that speed as you drop into a narrow canyon and encounter a series of loose, steep waterfalls. Theres another really rad steep rock feature further down with 2 consecutive drops which is tricky. Big wall rides near the end, then you jump over water bars all the way down to Bishop. Posted a video of the trail under the video tab to give you an idea. Start of the trail is a bit hard to find use the trailforks app.

You'd better believe the double-black rating on this one. Serious adventure trail, long pants recommended.
