Awesome climb and ripping fast descent. The better of several ways to climb up to the Steel Hollow trailhead. You'll have a couple short, loose and rocky sections towards the bottom followed by clean dirt the rest of the way up.

Bumps mid-trail have smoothed out considerably. Minor overgrowth in a few places typical for mid-summer, but not as bad as some years.

Came down this as part of a loop. Super fun descent. Some bumpy parts in places will rattle you up pretty quick.

Hopefully some riders will flatten down the rough horse prints put in when the trail was too wet.

I dont know about "awesome climb". Maybe if you're in shape and capable like Nino it's an awesome climb, or on an e-bike. I thought it was excessively difficult. The climb is significantly harder than providence canyon even though they're rated the same. I can clean the providence climb with moderate effort. This thing is just a monster. It's a sick out-and-back though. Just expect to hike it more than you think.
