Gravel access road. Steep and steady at the start up to where it starts a mostly-flat traverse across the Oak Creek drainage to meet the main road up to McCulloch Peak.

        Steep road that takes you right to Word. The grade is between 6%-8%. It’s a tough climb, and everyone I’ve spoken to about it says that they too walk a lot of it.
