Land OwnerUS Forestry Service
This is a fun trail with some challenging rock sections that descends from Bald Knob to Smith Creek Road and then cliombs straight up to Middle Mountain. Depending on how recently it's received trail work, riders can expect some section of overgrown brush and should be on the lookout for fallen trees. The descent from Bald Knob is on old CCC trail - stop to admire the rock retaining walls if you can - and is fun when clear.
