This trail used to be a jeep or fire road. It is wide in most places, but singletrack lines have been worn in over time. After the very short initial climb from Carr Ridge Trail, it is a moderate downhill with several rock features that are very easy to jump off off, There are no big drops and everything can be rolled. Taking a right onto Cascade Trail brings you along a scenic ride beside Catamount Brook. The section of trail between Cascade Trail and One Mile Trail is very steep. Most people descend via Alp D-Huez.
