Fun little trail that goes down to Shadow Falls. It's mostly an easy trail but has some features that can make for a more challenging ride. Advanced riders will be able to ride the entire trail, but others will need to pick their bike up and walk over a few logs. Follows a creek emanating from Shadow Falls Spring, found just a little ways down the trail.
In order to ride the entire trail, you will need to cross the creek a few times. These crossings are all doable for an intermediate rider without getting wet, but beginners may not be able to cross without getting wet.
In the spring, this trail can be extremely muddy.
*CAUTION* At the bottom of the trail you can either cross the creek and go south or stay on the same side of the creek and go north. Both of these options will take you on trails over extremely exposed cliffs of 30 to 40 feet. Neither of these trails are sanctioned nor recommended. Use at your own risk. The safe option is to walk to where you can enjoy the falls and then return the way you came.
The trail takes of directly into the park at the u-bend in River Boulevard.
This trail is unsanctioned.
