Land OwnerIndy Parks
The South Loop is on land donated by Oliver Daugherty to the Central Indiana Land Trust. The trail in a recreation easement thanks to Oliver Daugherty. The area was historically used to quarry sand. Sections are in woods, but much of the look is through an open prairie. The trail is directional by day. Please look at the directional signage when entering the loop.
