The first of 4 new trails added to Poinsett, the blue blazed Splice was a needed through trail from neighboring Manchester State Forest to access Campbell's Pond (MSF property) trail to the north of Poinsett and to take bike traffic off of Park Road. The trail undulates gently through the western and mid sections but has some short steep climbs on the eastern end. Used to access Whippoorwill, Laurel and Knot trails. Runs length of Park Road.
Access near the parking lot (look for the powerline cut) or near the front gate with the stop sign on it.
