Main loop of the Chip Ross Park trail system. Riding counter-clockwise out of the parking lot it takes you up a dirt double track to the summit meadow backed on the north side by native Oregon white oak trees. The double track crosses the summit at the north end of the meadow, passing a number of park benches and unofficial trails before it turns into relatively tight singletrack. The singletrack descends the west side of the ridge and turns south, passing an access trail into the McDonald Forest and then turning back to gravel-covered double track as it cuts across the south side of the park, returning to the parking lot.
